Yes, it has been sometime since I have been on to update. So instead of a catch up of life, I will just start from here.
Going to start updating tomorrow on our New House in Sparks, NV and the in's and out's of the girls.... Stay tuned.

I think I have found the diaper bag of all diaper bags...

The bragging mommy or Mrs Smith Bags

I love the cooper color and I think it is perfect for moms of MOM's or more than one kid.

Trunk or treat.

This was just about the worst way to spend your time with a base full of people and 2 toddlers and no extra hands to help out. We stayed in line for over an hr with Greg running around trying to let the girls play while I stayed with our stuff. Can ya say nightmare!! After an hr, I said enough! I am done so we got out of line and went about our way. At least we have some cute pictures.

Can not wait for trunk or treat

We are doing trunk or treat this week... will be posting pictures of the girlies in their Halloween Outfits.

Kitchen Sink Banana Bread

So I was looking for receipes to make the girls that basically are healthy. I came across this " Kitchen sink banana bread", You basically can add what you like... so I did. Here is what I used. OH and sugar free too...
2.5 ripe bananas... overripe the sweeter
1 egg
1 tbsp honey
1/4 c milk
1 1/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup apple butter
1/4 cup crushed walnuts
1/4 cup shredded coconut
A handful of old fashioned oats

Preheat oven to 350 and grease a loaf pan. Combine applesauce, bananas, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and milk in a large bowl. Mix well. Add egg and mix. Add flour, oats, and baking soda and stir until combined. Pour mixture into pan and bake about 35 min. The mixtuer will likely only fill about half the loaf pan (height wise) but you can double the recipe, if you'd like!

I drizzled the finish product with a bit more honey.

I forgot to add - you can basically add ANYTHING you want to this! You can't really mess it up. So if you have extra pears laying around - throw them in! Dried fruits? Try those! Have fun experimenting!

Fun in the Sun

Something that Maddie loves to do these days... any chance she can get.

Addie always wandering out into the great unknown... she is our thinker.

When we had sun....

This was basically the last day we had somewhat warm weather. It has since turned cold and as of last night... rain.... Joy to me to be locked in the house with 2 toddlers. Fun times ahead for me. For once in my life... bring back the sun. I hope that this is the only time I have to say this, since if you know me well... I do not like the sun or heat, but with the twins... I would be happy to have it any day now. This picture is a shot from the park on base up to the mountians.
